Instructions
Collect blood specimens in red-top tube (no gel) or serum separator tube (plastic) and separate the serum immediately. Sample may be drawn in a serum separator red-top glass tube, but not submitted in this tube. Freeze immediately and submit to laboratory frozen.

Clinical Significance
LH is useful in evaluating gonadal dysfunction and assessing ovulation and infertility. LH is often interpreted with other laboratory tests such as Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH).
