10 mL whole blood in Lavender top (EDTA) in original tube


Minimum Volume
5 mL for Adults (0.8 mL for Pediatric)

Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Any hemolysis, Volume <5.0 mL for adult, No armband, Pregnant or transfused in the last 3 months, or If surgery date exceeds 14 days from draw date.
