Patient Preparation
Specimens from patients who have received glucarpidase (carboxypeptidase G2) as a high dose methotrexate rescue therapy should not be tested with the ARK Methotrexate Assay as methotrexate concentrations will be falsely elevated in these specimens.

Reference Range
Following completion of High Dose MTX Infusion, MTX
levels are considered toxic if:
>5.00 umol/L at 24 hours
>0.50 umol/L at 48 hours
>0.20 umol/L at 72 hours

>0.50 umol/L at 48 hours
>0.20 umol/L at 72 hours
