2.0 mL plasma collected in a sodium fluoride gray top tube - Keep the sample on ice and separate the plasma from cells within 15 minutes of collection.


Minimum Volume
0.5 mL plasma


Instructions
  • Must be centrifuged within 15 minutes of draw.
  • Plasma must be taken off the cells.
  • Plasma must be refrigerated.


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Grossly hemolyzed
Samples collected and not separated within 15 minutes
