0.5 mL serum


Other Acceptable Specimens
2.0 mL serum collected in a rapic clot tube (RCT)


Instructions
Physically separate serum from contact with cells as soon as possible.


Transport Container
Store samples tightly stoppered at room temperature (15-30oC) for no longer than 8 hours.  If assay will not be completed within eight hours, refrigerate the samples at 2-8oC.


Specimen Stability
8 hours when stored at Room Temperature (15-30oC)
48 hours when stored Refrigerated (2-8oC)
