Instructions
The collection tube should be completely filled with blood and immediately placed on ice. 


Transport Container
If drawing at a nursing home, outpatient site, or physician's office, sample should be centrifuged, plasma removed, and plasma frozen immediately.  


Transport Temperature
Plasma frozen/on ice


Specimen Stability
24 hours when frozen (<-20oC)
