5 mL whole blood collected in an EDTA (lavender-top) tube

Minimum Volume
1 mL

Maintain sample(s) at room temperature. Do not refrigerate.
Recommendation: Draw samples shortly before courier pick up so they are received at the lab within 24 hours. Avoid transport just before or during weekends, which can result in preassay delay.
