Detection of anti-GM1, anti-asialo-GM1 and anti-GD1b antibodies using covalent ELISA technology.
Type of Disorder: Peripheral Neuropathy
Typical Presentation: Slowly progressive, distal motor neuropathy
Anti-GM1, anti-asialo-GM1, and anti-GD1b antibodies are found in patients with an acute presentation of muscle weakness, areflexia, autonomic dysfunction, and cranial nerve involvement.
