If GC is suspected, a Neigon/JEMBEC plate should be submitted for GC Culture (Test Code 657) or Gen-Probe swab for a GC DNA Probe test (Test Code 2668).

Urogenital specimen collected in transport medium


Instructions
Transport overnight express at room temperature.
Collect vaginal/cervical specimens using a swab, and submit in transport medium.
