Clinical Significance
Fascin is a sensitive marker for Reed-Sternberg cells and variants in nodular sclerosis, mixed cellularity, and lymphocyte depletion Hodgkin’s disease, and has been suggested as a prognostic marker in neuroendocrine neoplasms of the lung as well as ovarian cancer.
