Preferred Specimen
Testing should be performed within 4 hours of draw. Draw blood in a lavender-top (EDTA) tube, and send 3 mL (minimum volume: 1 mL) of blood. If it is necessary to delay testing, blood may be stored at ambient temperature for up to 24 hours.
