Instructions
Aspetically collect 1 g of tissue, if possible, in a screw-capped, sterile container without fixative or preservative. Specimen submitted in formalin is not acceptable. Do not immerse tissue in saline or other fluid or wrap in gauze. Label container with patient's name (first and last), date and actual time of collection, and type of specimen. Maintain sterility and forward promptly at ambient temperature only.|Note: Specimen source is required on request form for processing.|
