Instructions
Place stool in 10% formalin and PVA-zinc preservative. Fill to line indicated on the container. Formalin and PVA-zinc preservative is supplied. Mix well.|Note: Fresh stool submitted in a screw-capped, plastic container is also acceptable. Stool submitted in poly-vinyl alcohol (PVA) or mercury is not acceptable. Specimen source is required on request form for processing.|
