Whole blood collected in: EDTA (royal blue-top) tube, or sodium heparin (royal blue-top) tube, or EDTA (lavender-top) tube

Specimens should be foil wrapped. Protect from light.

Room temperature: 4 days
Refrigerated: 10 days
Frozen: Unacceptable
