At least 1 mL in sterile leak proof container preferred for aerobic culture; more if other cultures are desired.
Instructions
1. Collect a specimen in a syringe from a well cleaned site. Skin contaminants introduced during collection may cause a false positive result.
2. Change the needle and dispense into a sterile container.
3. Label and indicate source.
Transport to laboratory IMMEDIATELY.
