Instructions
Centrifuge for complete separation of plasma/serum and red cells. See Specimen Container for appropriate sample type. Refrigerate until tested.

Reference Range

<1.0 mg/L = Low Risk

1.0 - 3.0 mg/L = Average Risk

>3.0 mg/L = High Risk



Clinical Significance
Assess acute phase reactants which indicate a variety of inflammatory conditions. High sensitivity CRP (hsCRP) measurements, when used in conjunction with traditional clinical laboratory evaluation of acute coronary syndromes, may be useful as an independent marker of prognosis for recurrent events, in patients with stable coronary disease or acute coronary syndromes.
