Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)

The following will be rejected: Serum, plasma, or clotted samples. Samples left at room temperature >24 hours will be rejected.

Reference Range

Kidney tranplant in combination with Cyclosporine: 4-12 ng/mL

Liver transplant: 12-20 ng/mL


Optimal therapeutic range for a given patient may differ from this suggested range based on the indication for therapy, treatment phase, use in combination with other drugs, time or specimen collection relative to prior dose and type of transplanted organ.



Clinical Significance

This test aids in the management of Rapamycin (Sirolimus) therapy in transplant patients.
