MessageA physician may request a Path Review of the slide from a CBC or Hemogram and will be submitted as a Test Add Request.
A CBC or Hemogram must be ordered in conjunction with this test
If a slide was already made with the original CBC order, test can be added up to 7 days. The Central lab keeps hematology slides for 7 days. If a slide was not made with the original CBC order, specimens up to 24 hours old may be acceptable if kept refrigerated and cell disintegration has not occurred.
