Instructions

Centrifuge for complete separation of serum or plasma from red cells. Refrigerate until tested.

2-8°C up to 7 days; otherwise freeze at -20°C or lower




Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
  • Quantity not sufficient
  • Samples received not separated from red cells will be rejected

Clinical Significance
Aids in identifying the milk-specific proteins that are responsible for allergic response in patients with milk allergy.  This, in turn is useful in assessing the level of risk and severity of allergic reaction.
