Instructions
Do not centrifuge; Refrigerate specimen until tested.

Refrigerate


Specimen Stability
  • 2-8ºC up to 24 hours
If CBC cannot be performed due to stability, a Hemogram may be an option instead. Hemogram can be performed up to 48 hours maintained at 2-8ºC.


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Quantity not sufficient, clotted, or hemolyzed samples will be rejected. Frozen samples cannot be accepted.


Methodology
Pulse Measurement technology, Hydrodynamic Focusing, RF (Radio-Frequency) detection, and DC (Direct Current) detection.

M, T, W, Th, F, Sa, Sun


Report Available
Within 24 hours of receipt at the performing laboratory.  Stat testing is available.
