Note: A direct LDL measurement will be performed when Triglyceride levels are >400

Fasting 12 hours

Minimum Volume

0.5 mL

1 Green tube (Lithium Heparin)
Note: If gel-seperator tube is not used, plasma must be removed from the cells within 3 hours of collection. If gel-separator tube is used, plasma does not need to be removed.

Instructions

Centrifuge for complete separation of plasma or serum and red cells. Separate and refrigerate until tested.
