Instructions

Centrifuge for complete separation of serum or plasma and red cells. Refrigerate until tested.

2-8°C up to 7 days; otherwize freeze at -20°C or lower.




Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
  • Quantity not sufficient
  • Samples received that are not separated from cells will be rejected

Clinical Significance
Aids in identifying the egg-specific proteins that are responsible for allergic response in patients with egg allergy. This in turn is useful in assessing the level of risk and severity of allergic reaction.
