Bone marrow or whole blood: 1 Green tube (Sodium Heparin) Note: Heparin choice is Sodium - do not use Lithium heparin
Lymph node or biopsy: RPMI

Minimum Volume

Bone marrow: 1 mL
Whole blood: 1 mL
Lymph node or tissue: 5x5 mm

Lymph node or tissue: Refrigerate

Specimen Stability

Whole blood or bone marrow:

15-30°C up to 2 days
Refrigerated samples will be accepted, but not preferred

Lymph node or tissue:

2-8°C in RPMI up to 2 days

Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)

Clotted or Frozen samples.
Irretrievable samples will not be rejected.
