Due to the possibility of cross-contamination, aliquot specimens that have undergone automated microscopy are exempt from secondary add-on testing. If add-on testing is desired, please send an additional aliquot specimen.

The following conditions will result in a rejected specimen:
- Specimen contaminated with feces
- Specimen contaminated with tissue
- Insufficient volume (QNS)
- Excessive leakage in transport pouch
