If the preliminary antibody screen is positive, for patient and infant safety follow up with your local hospital (where the patient will deliver) for antibody identification and indicated follow up testing.

Instructions
Gold tubes (gel separator): allow to clot at room temperature then centrifuge for complete separation.
Do not centrifuge lavender or pink tubes.

Clinical Significance
The obstetric panel consists of a group of blood tests commonly performed during the first trimester of pregnancy. These tests can help identify certain problems during the pregnancy and can also guide any treatment needed for the mother or for the baby immediately after birth.
