Instructions
Centrifuge for complete separation of plasma or serum and red cells. Refrigerate until tested.

Clinical Significance
Diagnosis and monitoring of both acute and chronic infections due to hepatitis B virus (HBV) involves the use of several tests. Anti HBc IgM is usually present about the same time as the appearance of symptoms, and may remain positive for up to 1 year.
