Instructions
Centrifuge for complete separation of plasma and red cells. Aliquot (transfer) plasma into a transfer tube and refrigerate.

- Plasma is stable at 2-8°C up to 24 hours
- Plasma is stable 15-30°C up to 7 hours
- Frozen plasma samples allow for a longer storage
- Whole blood must be centrifuged and plasma removed within 7 hours of collection
Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Hemolyzed samples will be rejected.
