Instructions
Pure isolate of viable aerobic organism.


Transport Container
Submit aerobic organism grown in pure culture on agar slant or plate for susceptibility. Provide organism Source and Identification.


Transport Temperature
Ambient.


Specimen Stability
Transport as quickly as possible.


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Mixed culture or non-viable organism.


Methodology
Dependent upon request. Vitek, Microscan, E-test, or Kirby Bauer may be employed.
