Instructions
Serum separator tube or a lavender top tube (EDTA).


Transport Container
Centrifuge the serum separator tube within 24 hours of collection and transport; if a lavender top tube, centrifuge within 24 hours of collection and aliquot plasma (2 mL; Min. 0.6 mL) into a sterile standard transport tube. Centrifuge specimens at 800-1600 xg for 20 minutes.


Transport Temperature
Refrigerated.


Specimen Stability
After separation from cells within 24 hours: Ambient: 72 hours; Refrigerated: 14 days; Frozen: 42 days


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Unspun tubes.
