Instructions
For specimen in media, viability decreases during transit. The testing lab will make a viability determination.
Transport Container
5 x 5 mm (2 x 3 mm minimum) product of conception tissue collected in a sterile container in Hanks' Ringer's solution or culture medium with antibiotics. Also acceptable: Cultured cells in flasks or Tissue in saline solution.

Room temperature.

Room temperature: Preferred; Refrigerated: Acceptable; Frozen: Unacceptable

Clinical Significance
