Instructions
Lavender (EDTA) tube.
Collect a mid-morning blood sample after patient has been upright (sitting, standing, or walking) for a minimum of 2 hours, then have them sit 5-15 minutes prior to collection.

Transport Container
Centrifuge lavender top ASAP and transfer 1.8 mL (Min: 0.8 mL) plasma into a standard transport tube and freeze immediately.

Frozen.

Moderate to gross hemolysis, plasma collected in plasma separator tube, received thawed.
