After separation from cells: Ambient: 7 days; Refrigerated: 14 days; Frozen: 30 days.

Clinical Significance
Infection by Coccidiodes immitis can produce a spectrum of disease with most patients being asymptomatic and some developing disseminated disease including pneumonia and meningitis.
