Instructions
Please submit the transfusion bag. Do not inoculate blood culture bottles at your facility.
Optimal volume: 40 mL
Minimum volume: 5 mL
1. If necessary, seal any open ports or lines on the bag to prevent leakage and contamination.
2. Place the bag inside a sealable secondary bag.
