Blood:
Peripheral or line-drawn blood:
1. Prepare draw site using protocols for your institution.
2. Draw sample into syringe and transfer to Isolator tube after disinfecting the rubber stopper with an alcohol wipe.
Pediatric collection should use a Pediatric Isolator Tube.
