Instructions
Stool:
1. Collect fresh stool in a bedpan or clean wax container.
2. Place 1-2 grams of stool in a clean screw capped tube and submit at 4 C.
OR
3. Unscrew the cap of a Cary Blair transport vial and add approximately 1 gram of fecal material.
4. Securely refasten the cap and vigorously shake the vial to mix stool with transport medium.
