Plain red. Also acceptable: Sodium fluoride/potassium oxalate gray top tube.


Transport Container
Centrifuge plain red or gray top tube promptly and aliquot 1 mL serum or plasma (Min: 0.3 mL) into a standard transport tube.


Transport Temperature
Refrigerated.


Specimen Stability
Ambient: 48 hours; Refrigerated: 28 days; Frozen: 6 months
