Instructions
24-hour urine. Refrigerate 24-hour specimen during collection.


Transport Container
Transport one 2 mL aliquot of urine from well-mixed 24 hour urine. (Min: 0.5 mL) Record total volume on transport container and test request form. (Specimens preserved with 6 N HCl, glacial acetic acid, or boric acid will be accepted but not preferred)


Transport Temperature
Refrigerated.


Specimen Stability
Ambient: 48 hours; Refrigerated: 7 days; Frozen: 5 months
