Instructions
Green top (no gel) sodium heparin tube.


Transport Container
Separate the plasma from cells as soon as possible by centrifugation. Transfer 0.5 mL plasma to a Standard Transport Tube (Min: 0.3 mL).


Transport Temperature
Refrigerated.


Specimen Stability
After separation from cells: Ambient: 7 days; Refrigerated: 7 days; Frozen: 28 days


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Whole blood.
