Instructions
Eye:
1. Clean the entire area removing any crusted or dried exudate.
2. Gently swab the conjunctiva 2 times avoiding the eyelashes and eye border.

Transport Container
Submit an aerobic/anaerobic swab transport system or a capped syringe securely sealed without a needle for the eye specimen. A plate may also be submitted. Contact the laboratory for supplies and instructions.
