Clinical Significance
The American Urological Association recommends a waiting period of 8 to 16 weeks post vasectomy as the appropriate period for the first post vasectomy semen analysis. Specimen should be collected by masturbation. Patient should not have ejaculated for 2-7 days prior to submission of specimen or as doctor has directed.
