Measuring total serum IgE along with allergen-specific IgE antibody may be more sensitive for detecting allergic disease in some clinical

situations. Total serum IgE testing (TOIGE/LAB3041154) is separately orderable and only needs to be ordered once if multiple allergens are

included in a single order.
