Clinical Significance
Test useful for evaluating patients suspected of having rheumatoid arthritis (RA). It may also help to differentiate RA from other
connective tissue disorders presenting with arthritis. Although a negative test result does not exclude RA, anti-CCP is considered a
more sensitive marker for RA rather than rheumatoid factor (RF).
