Clinical Significance
A screen for the presence of cold agglutinins for those patients that are scheduled for cardiac surgery which may involve lowering the patient's
blood temperature during surgery. Cold agglutinin screen will be done on off shifts, with studies being completed on the following day shift. Complete study available Monday through Friday dayshift.
