Sunday-Saturday
Note: Testing will be performed twice per day; 12 noon and 8 pm (specimens must be received in the laboratory prior to the testing times in order to be run that day). 
Monday-Friday: Additional testing performed at 7am- must be recieved in the laboratory before 6:30am.


Reference Range
Therapeutic level: 5.0 - 14.0 ng/mL
Toxic (Critical) level:  >=15.0 ng/mL


Clinical Significance
Monitoring whole blood tacrolimus concentration during therapy, particularly in individuals coadministered CYP3A4 substrates, inhibitors, or inducers.

Adjusting dose to optimize immunosuppression while minimizing toxicity.

Evaluating patient compliance.
