Pediatric: One full lavender or purple (containing EDTA) top microtainer or 1 full red top microtainer.


Minimum Volume
3 mL (LavenderTop) or 1mL (Red Top)


Other Acceptable Specimens
One 6mL Red Top Tube


Instructions
Short filled lavender/purple to blood colelction tubes may yield erroneous results.
If draw a Red Top tube; centrifuge tube within 2 hours of collection and separete from cells, keep serum refrigerated.


Specimen Stability
 Ambient: 4 hours   Refrigerated: 14 days   Frozen: 5 months

Homogeneous particle-enchanced immunoassay (PETIA)

Setup Schedule
Sunday- Saturday: Note- Testing will be performed twice per day;  12pm (noon) and 8pm (specimens must be received in the laboratory prior to the testing times in order to be run that day.

1.0-3.5 ug/ mL (Trough Specimen)
