Preferred Specimen
Collect specimens according tothe instructions provided in the renal biopsy kit. Renal biopsy collection kits are available from Electron Microscopy Lab (304-293-6716). Tissues should be divided as indicated in diagram.

Report Available
A written report will be issued and will incorporate results of immunofluorescent histology, light microscopy and electron microscopy. Reports contain images as needed.
Reference Range
An interpretive report will be provided.
Clinical Significance
Evaluating patients with undiagnosed kidney disease. Following the course of therapy or the progression of the disease. Diagnosing disease with only electron microscopic alterations.
This test must be ordered in conjunction with, "Renal Biopsy, Electron Microscopy and Renal Biopsy, Immunofluorescence".
