Minimum Volume
5 mL specimen


Instructions
Do not send specimens with attached tubes. Specimen should be received in the laboratory within two hours of collection. Anatomic location should be written on the label.


Transport Temperature
Refrigerated


Specimen Stability
Must be sent to the laboratory immediately after collection


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Specimens not received in the laboratory within two hours after collection will be rejected.Specimens sent with contaminated outer containers will not be processed.
