One 5 mL gold top tube
Pediatric Volume: Two Gold Top microtainers


Instructions
Sample must be centrifuged within two hours of collection and put into aliquot tubes following centrifugation.
Aliquot 0.8 mL and refrigerate

Refrigerated

Refrigerated 10 days at 2-8 C

Reference Range
Kappa Free Light Chain: 0.33-1.94 mg/dL 
Lambda Free Light Chain: 0.57-2.63 mg/dL
Ratio: 0.26-1.65


Clinical Significance
Assay is sensitive to high levels of free kappa or free lambda light chains in patient with evolving or relasping myeloma.
