Instructions
Cell count and differential will be performed on only one tube, tube four is best practice. If subarachnoid hemorrhageis suspected, an additional red cell count only can be performed if requested. Required for Testing: 1 mL fluid

Specimen Stability
Ambient: Unstable, testing should be performed within 2 hours of collection   Refrigerated: 24 hours
