Fresh unformed raw stool in a sterile leak-proof container with no preservatives.
Instructions
Make sure specimen container is labeled with patient name/hospital number (i.e., Optio label). Only liquid stool is appropriate for testing. Note: Barium Sulfate and Benzalkonium chloride may cause erroneous results.
